Amounts & currencies
Amounts are always integers in the currency’s smallest unit. There are no floating-point amounts anywhere in the API.
To send 1,250.00 USD, send "amount": 125000. To send 125,000 XOF (which has no minor unit), send "amount": 125000. Fractional numbers, strings, zero and negative values are rejected with validation_error. A single amount may not exceed 100,000,000,000 minor units.

Fees
Fees are calculated by the server and returned in the fee field; a fee sent by the client is rejected as an unknown field. No pricing model is configured yet, so fee is currently 0.
